Life Groups
Life Groups are the heart of Mountain View! The book of Acts is very clear about how God intends His people to grow spiritually, impact the world for Christ and have their needs met at the same time. The answer? It’s not the large celebration services that we have once a week on Sundays. They are great and have their place, but we believe real life change happens in small group “family” settings.
God loves you, and has a purpose for your life. Do you want to experience God’s love and discover His purpose for you? We would like to offer you the opportunity to become connected in a community of believers who have the time and ability to get to know you, listen to each other, and encourage and challenge one another.

Guardrails
Guardrails: a system designed to keep vehicles from straying into dangerous or off-limit areas. They’re everywhere, but they don’t really get much attention … until somebody hits one. And then, more often than not, it is a lifesaver. Ever wonder what it would be like to have guardrails in other areas of your life-areas where culture baits you to the edge of disaster and then chastises you when you step across the line? Your friendships. Your finances. Your marriage. Maybe your greatest regret could have been avoided if you had established guardrails. In this six-session video based study, Andy Stanley challenges us to stop flirting with disaster and establish some personal guardrails.

Why?: With so many new people at Mountain View we thought it would be fun to spice things up a bit in the summer and use the already existing forum of our summer softball games to create opportunities for people to connect together. We encourage you to come to all the game or just one. We want to help you get to know some others who call Mountain View home and here is a non-threatening way to connect with other. LIFE Group Leader Training
Signs of Life will lead you on a journey to a fuller understanding of the marks that identify you as a Christian. Signs that will advertise your faith. Personal imprints that can impact souls for eternity and help you become a person of influence who radiates relevancy, authenticity, generosity, and compassion every day – just like Jesus did.
LIFE Group Leader Training will be available this summer for all existing and new leaders. All training sessions will be from 7:00 – 8:30 pm. If you are interested in leading a group in the fall, please mark your calendar with the following training dates:
June 5 (Signs of Life – days 1-7)
June 25 (Dusty Shoes – days 8-14)
July 10 (Worn-out Knees – days 15-21)
July 23 (Rolled-up Sleeves – days 22-28)
August 7 (Open Hands – days 29-35)
