Good For Nothing
Pastor Mark Jenkins, Speaking
Ever stood in front of a clothes closet full of clothes trying to find something to wear? Have you ever traded in a perfectly good car for another…car? Ever killed some time talking or texting on your phone while standing in line to get a newer version of the same phone? If you answer yes to any of these questions, you might be rich. No, you don’t feel rich. Rich is the other guy. Rich is having more than you currently have. But you can be rich and not feel it. And that’s the problem. We are convinced that you are richer than you think. We just aren’t very good at it. It’s one thing to BE rich. We want to help you to be good at it. This teaching series will lay out the biblical principles for carrying that load, making sure your wealth remains a blessing not just for you, but for your family and your community for generations to come.
Today’s Message: One thing about being a larger church, for this community, is that we can make a larger difference. When we come together, when we’re generous with our time and money, we can change our communities and the world. We don’t want to simply be a “good” church, we want to be a “good for something” church. And that “something” is turning indifference into amazement and seekers into fully devoted followers of Jesus.
