Are We Raising Cain or Abel ()

Parents must teach and model for our children how to be a blessing in our culture and not a curse. It seems complex, but how can parents help shape and form the motivations of our children. I believe the answer is found in Matthew 22:37-40; Deut. 6:4.
I want to look at what is means to teach our kids to love God with ALL their hearts (maybe the rest…soul, mind and strength…but really focus on the HEART). When you contrast the character traits of children and teens today: disrespect, disobedience, vulgar, thirst and hunger for violence, hatred, selfish, etc., I ask the question—how can we help our kids learn how to love God with all their hearts (Matthew 22:37-40). To not ask these questions has far reaching implications and consequences.

Instruments that you play: I enjoy playing the harmonica for my own personal time of worship
What you like to do on a sunny day: If it's a day off, I like to wear tank tops, shorts and work boots and build or fix something
What you like to do on a rainy day: The same...just inside...I like to read if no one else is home.
Favorite football team: The Five-Time Champions Pittsburgh Steelers...The world of Black and Gold is a beautiful thing.
