What’s in Your Hand?
Mike Webb, Speaking
The world measures success by asking the question, “What’s in your wallet?” “Be” more by using your plastic card to do more and have more. Find your purpose and your satisfaction in what you can accumulate, and getting what you want when you want it.
Success in God’s economy is measured differently. God asks the question, “What is that in your hand?” “Be” more by giving more. Success in God’s economy is measured by our willingness to use what He has placed in our hands for His glory. Take notice of the blessings God has placed in your life – the spectacular, big ones, and the relatively routine, small ones.
Use the card, but learn to use it for His glory. More importantly, learn to trust the God who gave it. We remember Moses not because of what he had, but on his obedience in using it for God.
So, go ahead, ask yourself, “What’s in your wallet … er, hand?” And, “How will you choose to use it?”
Remember, He’s everywhere you want to be!
