God's Wisdom Revealed in 0 AD

Message Notes

Pause Questions

Question #1. Ephesians 3:1 — What circumstances in your life are you tempted to let define you, and how might
your perspective change if you remembered, like Paul, that you belong first and foremost to Christ?

Paul saw himself not simply as a prisoner of Rome, but as a “prisoner of Christ Jesus.”

Question #2. Ephesians 3:1–2 — What has God placed in your hands—relationships, gifts, resources, opportunities, or influence—that He may be asking you to steward for His purposes?

Paul understood that God's grace had been given to him and entrusted to him for the benefit of others.

Question #3. Ephesians 3:3–5 — How does knowing that God has revealed His plan and truth through Christ and His Word challenge you to know, trust, and live out what He has already made known?

The mystery was once hidden, but it has now been revealed. We are not waiting for a new message; we are called to faithfully live and share the gospel we have received.

Question #4. Ephesians 3:6 — Are there any walls—whether because of differences, preferences, backgrounds, hurts, or assumptions—that you have built between yourself and other believers that Christ may be calling you to tear down?

Through Christ, those who were once separated became “coheirs, members of the same body, and partners in the promise.”

Question #5. Ephesians 3:7 — Where might God be calling you to serve or make Christ known, and how does Paul's reminder that his ministry was a “gift of God's grace” and empowered by God's strength change the way you see your own ability and limitations?

Paul didn't serve because he believed he was sufficient on his own. He served because God's grace called him and God's power enabled him.
