Plugging into church should be easy.

When it comes to connecting to a new church, the process can be difficult. We'd like to change that. You're invited to get known, get connected, and get rooted. Expand each one for instructions and upcoming dates! 

Get Known:
This first step is your opportunity to get to know the pastor, a few core leaders, and others new to the church!  This is also the first step towards church membership if you are interested in pursuing that. 

Here’s how to start your journey:
1. Sign up for an upcoming Get Known at a date convenient for you.
2. Show up for Get Known. These are held in person at a campus.
3. Learn about MVCC, hear other’s stories, and share some of your story.

Get Connected:
Your second step provides the place to discuss who we are, how we’re structured, what we believe, and what we teach, the book I Am A Church Member as well as the membership process at MVCC.

Here’s how to continue your journey:
1. At the end of Get Known, register for an upcoming Get Connected class on a date that works for you.
2. Take home the Get Connected pre-material and read it.
3. Show up for Get Connected. These are held in person at a campus.

Get Rooted:
We hope that along your journey you'll take the opportunity to experience Rooted, a group-discipleship study that helps participants—whether new to faith or growing deeper—explore core Christian beliefs and practice the 7 rhythms of a disciple through meaningful community and real-life application.  During the study we meet once a week. We end the study with a catered celebration dinner!

Rooted groups open when Life Group sign-ups begin and they remain open during the introductory weeks of the study.  Click here to explore our Life Groups webpage. If a Rooted group is not open at this time, we encourage you to join an open group that is a good fit for you and then join a Rooted group during a future sign-up season.
