I grew up in Ft. Lauderdale, FL and attended the Catholic church with my family. Even though I grew up attending church, I knew there was more to a relationship with God than what I was experiencing. As a young adult, I began seeking a deeper relationship with God. In 1983, I met my future wife, Carolyn, while attending school in Tallahassee, FL. We were married in 1985 and began attending a Presbyterian church and eventually both came to see our need for Christ and accepted Him as Savior in 1987. We moved to Virginia and attended Alliance Bible Church where I served in many positions, including Deacon and Elder.
We began attending MVCC in 2016 and were drawn by the passion the people displayed for God and their desire to see Christ shared in the community of Culpeper and throughout the world. I enjoy serving as the Life Group Director, co-leading a life group, serving in the A/V booth with the Live Stream team, and occasionally preaching a message. Throughout these years, God has grown my faith in Him and His plans and purposes. The more I pursue Him the more He shows me how I can serve Him by serving others. I consider myself a spiritual “work in progress” and I am continually amazed at God’s grace and mercy.
In 2024 I retired from a career in the IT field after 35 years. My wife and I enjoy spending time with our three children, their spouses, and our 5 Grandkids.
